Reserved Names
The Global Name Registry has reserved a set of suffixes on the second level domain of .NAME by default. All strings ending in these suffixes are only available for 3rd level domain registrations.
As an example, all domains where the second level string ends in "-family", e.g. "smith-family.NAME", are reserved and can only be used for third level registrations, e.g. "jamieson@smith-family.NAME".
The following suffixes are reserved on the second level for third level registrations only:

The Global Name Registry has also reserved at the 2nd level a set of commonly used names in various countries for 3rd level registrations.
