Consent / Denial Process

The Consent Mechanism is what permits a registration to be created that would otherwise conflict with a Defensive Registration. In other words, if a name has been "blocked" by a Defensive Registration, the person whose name is affected can ask the owner of the Defensive Registration for consent to get his/her name by "bypassing" the Defensive Registration.

There are two sections pertaining to this process, one if you are an individual seeking consent and the other if you are a Defensive Registrant.

Please choose the section applicable to you and read the documentation carefully.
